We work exclusively with these home-made icings to cover our cakes and keep them fresh.

 

ROLLED FONDANT

 

This is a malleable sugar dough which offers us many design possibilities since it takes so well to food-safe colourings and lends an ultra-smooth finish to our cakes. Depending on the required effect we can blend different flavours or mix in ground nuts, spices or vanilla bean. Below are some other choices which can contribute to the taste and colour of the finished cake.

MARZIPAN

 

Its’ base is almond paste mixed with icing sugar and is traditionally used to make small fruits and cover English fruit cakes. For the true marzipan lover we can incorporate this as an additional filling for your cake. We also offer it made with the following:
